MultiTasking

last edited 4 years ago by gherman
Multitasking usually means doing several things "at once." Of course, if your computer has only one CPU, it means several things are done "as if" they were executed at once. This is achieved by various multiplexing and time-slicing mechanisms. Among them are processes, threads and tasklets.
